Dermatology Los Angeles Medical Center - Facility

The Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center (LAMC) is a multi-specialty teaching hospital located in Hollywood, California.

We provide training to 237 residents and fellows in 20 programs. The 528-bed medical center is the tertiary referral hospital for 4.2 million Kaiser Permanente members. The LAMC receives the most complex cases through referrals from its extensive network of surrounding Kaiser facilities. As a major teaching hospital for UCLA, Kaiser Permanente offers an unparalleled diversity of patients spanning from primary care to complex tertiary cases. Our patient population reflects Southern California –39 percent Caucasian, 29 percent Latino, 15 percent African-American, and 14 percent Asian.

During the course of the residency, residents rotate at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, City of Hope, and additional Kaiser locations, including Panorama City, and Woodland Hills. Residents serve the community by participating in free clinics at the Hollywood Sunset Free Clinic and KHEIR clinic.
