Serving the Community
Faculty and fellows provide a breath of communities services including pre-participation physicals at local colleges and high schools through out the year. The fellows engage in numerous community events that partner with Kaiser Permanente such as the NBA Get fit clinic, wellness sports physicals for Sacred Heart high school, KP Get fit festival and mass community events such as the Southern California Special Olympics and Special Olympics World Games in 2015.
California State University, Los Angeles
Cal State Los Angeles is a NCAA Division II school with over 21,000 students. The Golden Eagles have 11 teams including baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and track and field.
Santa Monica College Football
Santa Monica College is a member of the Western State Conference.
Occidental Football
Occidental College is a NCAA Division III school offering a variety of sports and a large body of students that participate in collegiate athletics and need sports medicine care.
Orthopedic Institute for children
Orthopedic Institute for children was established in 1922, has been partnered with UCLA for the past 10 years and has more than 60,000 pediatric orthopedic visits per year. It provides the safety net for children in Los Angeles who have no where else to go. Our fellows provide weekly care there.
Los Angeles Trade Technical College
Los Angeles Trade Technical College is located in Downtown LA, serving the city of LA as a public community college, founded in 1925.
