Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship – San Diego

PGY-6 Fellowship opening available for August 1, 2025 start

Kaiser Permanente Southern California is among the nation’s largest and most highly regarded healthcare delivery organizations. The overall goal of our sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship program is to provide a supportive and educational environment in which fellows will gain experience with clinical and surgical care.

To participate in the fellowship, the physician must have:

  • Completed an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Residency Program
  • Valid California Medical license at the start of the program
  • Current DEA, BLS, ACLS certificate

Geriatric Medicine Fellowship

The one-year fellowship program is organized to provide a superior educational, interdisciplinary and leadership experience, assists fellows with gaining the competency to manage the entire gamut of Geriatric Medicine cases and serve as a consultant to other medical providers.
To participate in the fellowship, the physician must have:
-Completed an ACGME-accredited Family or Internal Medicine Residency Program
-Valid California Medical license at start of program
-Current DEA, BLS, ACLS certificate
-USMLE transcripts for Steps 1, 2 CK, 2 CS and 3 Board scores
-Three Letters of Recommendation (one must be from current Program Director)

On track for successful completion of PGY-1 year in an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency program prior to start date.
